summary: It is better now than it used to be, now that we’ve got the turbines working like they are supposed to. They don’t produce as much energy as we really need – only enough for heat, no electricity – but it’s something. Half of Central Park was chopped down before the scientists at City University got them fixed. The Park looks shriveled now, or shaven, I guess. Everyday life in dystopia. New York City, sometime in the future.
A/N 1: Written for savepureness for Challenge 4 at inrevelations. I feel pretty confident in saying that, whatever it was that you were expecting, it... was not this. I do incorporate your prompt, specifically and tonally, but the story is much larger than that. I don't even know, man. My brain ran away with me, as it tends to do. I hope you enjoy it anyway! Also, I would really appreciate some feedback on this one because it's so fucking bizarre, so there's a bit more of an A/N at the end. As always, thank you all for reading. ♥

It is time for the 3rd Time Limited Print Sale!!!
(the first was back in 07' for 'Mizuame'.)
(and the second one in 08' for 'Two Sisters'.)

This is a type of sale where the print will be available for exactly one hour,
and ANYONE who clicks the button during that time will be guaranteed a print.
(the edition size will be much larger than usual of course.)
